Further to my recent post (iPod Hell), I have found that my new iPod has raised the bar when it comes to frustration
Do you need ‘The Five R’s’ in order to get your iPod working? I did…
If i produced a product that might require you to “Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall and Restore” in order to get it working, I would be ashamed of myself.
But I don’t make iPods – Apple do. And this is their delightful instruction to anyone who has bought an iThingy, that fails to work.
Is it just me or does this beggar belief?
I agree. I’ve had that problem so many times. In this case, instead of making a product that solves probelms (how do I purchase, organize, and listen to music) is easy for users, they made a product that creates problems, but is easy for them to lock you in and sell you more.
It’s not you.
